Once installed the stone hinge and handle are fantastic. I did have to adjust the angle on the wall of my Blackstone. They were not perpendicular. I used a 12” crescent wrench and a cheater pipe to bend the sides to vertical. I also had to adjust the lid outwards to be able to color outside the hinge. I wasn’t expecting to have to make these changes. Once installed and adjusted, I really like having a liftable lid on the flattop.

Easy transition from "cover" to "hinged lid"
Genius! I recently got a Blackstone and didn't realize that a "cover" was not the same as a "lid" with hinges. This fixed that in literally 5 minutes! Will make the griddle much easier to use. Well built. installs with literally 8 screws. Amazon video link gives very clear guidance on installing.

Big Upgrade
Took about 15 minutes to install and looks great. It fit perfectly on my two burner blackstone and looks like it has a lot of adjustment for other models. I was impressed with the heavy duty quality and feel. The cover feels like it was supposed to be a lid all along!

The addition of a lid for the grill has completely changed how often I use the grill. The temperature control is way better and more consistent across the stovetop and I can cook in the cold and don't have to worry about a little rain coming in ruining my steaks.

I definitely recommend this to anyone who bought a model with the removeable lid.

This seems to be a quality piece. Cumbersome to install with one person but it’s manageable. Would help if the hood pins were a bit longer to make it easier to thread the bolts on. Overall it’s a great upgrade!

I just got the opportunity to install it last night. You'll definitely need to loosen the bolts and adjust the hinges so things sit just right, but the whole process from start to finish took less than 10 minutes. I love it. It does sit up above the edge of your cooktop (it makes sense, but I just didn't think about it on ordering. Love it though. Makes it easy to start cooking. It also doubles as a cover when cooking if needed. Great for pizzas.
