I have had a chance to install, I will describe the material as firm with some inherent give which provides a little shock absorption. The adhesive adhered well to the prepped aluminum steps. I used professional strength acetone to prep and washed and dried steps prior to application. The steps offer a much safer transition to the inside of the trailer. I would have given this product 5 stars if it was 24” as opposed to 20”.

I applied the tuff treds a few days ago. They were easy to apply and seem to be very secure. I like them better than the wrapped carpet protectors. Dogs like them too.
Applied these to my RV steps and they had a wonderful feel to them. They worked out great so I bought another for my third step. Totally satisfied.

The only disappointment was the size I have a 2023 mountain air and it didn’t begin to cover the step completely. You should’ve asked for size and then offer one that will fit that size.

20" is just a bit too narrow for our steps, 22" would have been better.

Product looks fine, it's small for a motorhome step, very expensive for what it is, I should have looked harder before buying because I thought it was a set not just one. Haven't put it to the test yet with wet muddy, snow covered or sandy shoes but will try that soon, appears to be hard without much depth for grabbing debris from shoes

I'd love to try these but the width is way too short for most RV steps.
