Hey, Mavericks!
We've got some exciting news to share with all of you: The launch of our newest products, GrabPad Universal Permanent Jack Pad and Tow-n'-Glow Towed Vehicle Safety Night Light.
These products are acquisitions from a company called RVi (which many of you may be familiar with). However, the story behind all of this is much bigger than a simple acquisition. And, while we could just issue a simple press release (which we have included at the bottom of this post), we wanted to dive a little deeper into the personal side of this story.
The Backstory of RVi & 4 Mavericks 📖
A lot of you are probably RVers - and, as a result, you're probably familiar with RVi as a company. They're one of the premier makers of flat towing braking systems on the market today.
If you are familiar with RVi and then you look at our About Us page, then you'll probably see some familiar faces. For starters, there's Dan Decker, a Co-Founder of 4 Mavericks who is also the founder and former President of RVi. There's Jerad Burkhart, former COO of RVi and also a Co-Founder of 4 Mavericks. And, last but not least, there's Chris Bonham, our Director of Marketing and the former Customer Service & Marketing Manager for RVi.
So, why the crossover episode?
Well, recently, the RVi brand and flat towing products were purchased by Curt Manufacturing, another premier RVing brand. This led to the exciting formation of 4 Mavericks and the acquisition of GrabPad and Tow-n'-Glow (which we'll return to in a minute).
As a result, we bring all of those years of experience with us. We bring our heart and our passion for people and innovation with us. 4 Mavericks may be new to the RV and in-home product landscape, but we like to think of ourselves as 'old souls' when it comes to all of this. 😎
So, What's The Deal With GrabPad And Tow-n'-Glow?
Well, as we mentioned above, GrabPad and Tow-n'-Glow were not part of the RVi sale to Curt. Instead, these products are coming with their inventors - Dan and Jerad - to 4 Mavericks. That means, effective immediately, these products can only be purchased or sourced from our website or from a 4 Mavericks Authorized Retailer. All other points of sale will be redirected to our website here.
